10 Months And Case Still Under Initial Review!!! :(

I've been waiting for almost 10 months now and still waiting...I've done like for service requests and every time all they say is that they are trying to "process caseS as soon as possible" and still waiting. I've contacted my congressman to see if he could help, but no luck there either; and still waiting. I've seen all my friends and other ppl apply along side me, after me, and way after me; they ALL have gotten approved, and I...I'm still waiting with no movement on my case at all.

 

Does anyone have an idea on what i could do, who to contact, how to see what's happening with my case. If it is just sitting in a corner, no one has even touched it yet? Any ideas, besides WAITING, please?

It's about to be 9 months for me also man. I'm so stressed out. I did my service request 10 days ago and I have 5 days left on my waiting period, hopefully we can get some word. Good luck bro

Yes That's what I'm wondering too...I'm 99% sure I have not done any crime or anything of that sort LOL. I've called many times the USCIS service and all the say is that it may be possible that they are still waiting on my background check. But i dont think thats the case, its been 10 months for me...The customer Service from USCIS really doesn't help. Everey time i call they tell me the same thing

No criminal record here. Maybe already being in removal proceedings slow it down?

Waiting since oct and my lawyer claims that the told him my case was transfered to the fraud department. But I haven't lied about anything. I think the reps were bullshiting him bcuz I haven't recieved anything in writting.

About ten months for me as well.... Not sure what there waiting for..... All I keep saying and hearing is soon..... There is no other choose, unfortunately. We will wait. For all we know, the next day might bring better news.

I'm stressed out, I over think it a lot, I almost feel like I can't move on with life it's hard it's a necessity more than anything. Anxiety to another level..! I go into USCIS about 3 times a day every day and nothing but initial review. Everyone all my friends have received theirs its frustrating. But all we can do is pray! And just stay POSITIVE POSTIVENESS at all times!

I even sent a clearance sheet from my local police department along with my application but still no clue on why is taking so long.

 

I know people who applied 3-4 months ago and have already been approved. I don't understand whats going on. It's really frustrating.

but I think it's stupid that a case like yours can't pass a damn security clearance. They should've just aproved you right away! But let's stay on their ass eventually they need to give us a fucking answer, right?!

Have you tried contacting them at all?! Do you have a lawyer? I've been waiting since oct I did my biometrics in nov. and nothing I've contacted them several times and nothing.

@curiousgirl This is indeed crazy. I thought my case was bad, I've been waiting for 7 months as of last week and they don't tell me anything besides the usual 'we'll get to it when we get to it'..

have you guys tried infopass where u get to talk to a representative, i know when i applies i got my work permit almost right away, and its kinda frustraring that my sis whom has more need then me to have DACA approved being a great college student, full time worker and mom, hasn't gotten her yet.

I considered that but I think they said I can't make an appointment to go talk to them for anything DACA related. I should just call the number.
