WGATAP 17 Posted June 27, 2013 I'm staying possitive, but I do agree with JoseG, the senate was the easy part...and like Gezinha said we can only hope and wait. meanwhile...We want more appovals USCIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes definitely more approvals!! Only 14 out 46 republican senators voted, so it was a very close call. I am hoping that something can be passed by the end of summer so that some of us can spend the holidays with our families. It will be a similar process to DACA, the waiting time will be exntensive, for some people, not even 2016..that is what I am guessing, bc this is 11 million people we are talking about... People can start filing for RPI status once DHS submits a plan to secure the border. We won't be able to get green cards until the actual border is secured.Yeah that's true the wait will be very long.. Hopefully people can start getting their paperwork ready and saving up money so that they can at least be some of the first few to file. It's such a sad situation, but it's better than nothing. Gezinha 121 Posted June 28, 2013 I hope this won't be extremely expensive...2K I've heard, that is not too much, it will be bad for the people who haven't paid taxes all these years, yup..that will be a bitch for them...Hopefully there will be a deal in place for some people..imagine having to pay 20k in taxes...horrible!
