Dreamer3oh3 40 Posted June 30, 2013 Hey everyone new here. Basically my dilema is I filed back in Oct and did Biometrics in Nov and it's been 8 months now. Also back in January I discovered that USCIS had the wrong address and fixed it. In Jun I called USCIS and they said they would send me an inquiry as to where my file was, since it's been more than 6 months of the processing time. Well long story short I talked to my lawyer and they said that my case was transfered to the fraud review or something like that. I'm SUPER scared bcuz I haven't lied about anything on my file. Idk if USCIS is just saying that to scare me or what. Has anyone experienced this? or has gone thru additional review?
JoseG 383 Posted June 30, 2013 I've heard of applications needing additional review, but never have I heard of "fraud review". When you got the response to the inquiry, did it actually say "fraud review"
Dreamer3oh3 40 Posted June 30, 2013 No I'm still waiting for the written response inquiry. But that's what someone at uscis told my lawyer.
JoseG 383 Posted June 30, 2013 Oh. It might just be the same thing as additional review, that's what most of these cases that have taken over 3 months are probably stuck in.
