Ivan77c 9 Posted July 12, 2013 Hi I got approved on july 03, I got a letter in the mail on the 08 that my daca has been approved but I been checking my i765 online and it still in initial review does anyone had the same problem? and how long does it take for the i765 to be approve? JoseG 383 Posted July 13, 2013 In the majority of cases, the I-765 is approved first, then the I-821D is approved within a few hours of that. In this case, If your I-821D was approved first, USCIS has up to 90 days to review and give a decision on your I-765 application. That doesn't mean it will take 3 months to get a decision on your I-765, but that's how long it can take. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

USCIS doesn't request that you send in any paperwork or evidence for the I-765 application aside from the I-765WS, so I don't know what can cause the I-765 to be held up.
