Hi!.. Im Yuri

Recommended Posts

Hello..My name is Yuri..So after so long looking for answers here I finally decided to create my own account. Well long story short , My daca application was received on Nov.8 ,2012 . I received an rfe on March 6 ,2013 . Gathered all the evidence I could for the months they were asking me for. They received my response to the rfe on April 22 ,2013. Its now going for almost three months since they received my response to the rfe , I am sad , stressed out , confused so many mixed feelings. Why is it taking so long??.. Everyone is getting approved ,even people who applied this same year , I am here still waiting. Called Customer Service last week and this really nice lady answered, all she did was tell me exactly what I see almost everyday when I check my case status in the uscis website. Oh! and she did tell me that uscis was working on the applications for the month of October 2012 , thats confusing because I personally know people who applied way after that month and have already been approved. I guess all I can do is wait , wait and wait. Adding some personal info. My parents brought me here the state of CA in the year of 1988 using a passport my mom had, we used to leave in Tj so my mom had a passport and I was included in it. Well Ive been here since then , 25 yrs of my life. Was only 5yrs when I arrived here. Well basically I used to love going to school , well you could of called me a nerd. Graduated high school in the year 2000. Back then it wasnt that easy attending college or a university without legal status. I had a high gpa so I could of automatically have been accepted to a university. I talked to my school counselor in my senior year , told her my situation about my status in the country. She basically threw all my dreams away telling there was nothing she could do to help me. I already had an appt to talk to one of the counselors from one of the universities. I didnt attend it. I was so depressed. So much dedication to school for nothing. Well so I jst ended up working in a fast food restaurant. In the year of 2007 I found out about a great and cheap medical assiting program that didnt require you to demonstrate legal status in the country. I completed in program in June 2008, by July I already had a job as a medical assistant in a pediatricians office. Well the dream come true was lived short. In Dec 2008 the doctors received a letter stating some kind of mistake with my ssn. And we all know what happend after that, no more job for me. I had to tell the doctors the truth about my status , they were always great persons towards me so I jst couldnt lie. Well here I am waiting to see if my case gets approved. Theres so many dreams that have been cut short . I am seriously so stressed out. But while theres faith there will always be hope.

Thanks Everyone!... Sharing what I am going through with my daca case make me release some stress. Seeing that theres some of you guys that have been waiting longer than I have and that don't loose hope gives me the strength to keep my heads up. Hey I mean if they would wanted to deny us I would say they would of done it right away. So let's keep our heads up and think that all were going through is a longer wait. Nothing else!

I sent in my application in October and they received it on October 26, did my bio in November 27 didn't hear from them till around May. Called my attorney and he told me I should get some kind of notice by the end of the month which I did from him. I didn't get the notice from uscis till a month later. In beginning of June when I went to check my case status. The notice was an RFE by the way. I Gathered all the information that I was told to collect and I did that, took me a month to call and mail and wait for all those paper to come in. Sent in my package to my attorney and he got it and looked over it and said it was good. He sent it in mid July and today I got a text and email update on my case. I go online to check it out and it said denied. Whats next? Do I reopen or reapply and pay the fee and wait for many month just to get denied again. I do not understand that part. Why go through the same exact process and spend a lot of money to get denied again. Also do the people who get denied get their money and packages back? I came to the US in 1990 went to school K-12 and a couple semesters of community college. Came here LEGALLY with my mom on a travelers visa and we over stayed. Didn't know I was undocumented till I was a sophomore in HS when I passed drivers ed and was ready to go to the DMV to take my written test. I did't have the right documents. At first I wasn't really concerned just thought it was those things that can be taken care of later. After graduation I started to get concerned because I had many questions but no answers. Also I applied for PR in late on 2011 and still no answers. I heard it can take up to 10 years for that to happen but I may of heard differently. I'm new to this site but have been researching it for many months and have decided to join my brothers and sisters. I'm no legal expert but I do have a licensed immigration attorney on my side so if any questions and concerns please feel the urge to write me and I will help answer your questions with the best of my abilities. Same goes to me, if you read this and have any input on what I should do next please write me back. Until then may GOD BLESS all of his children till the day we get approved.
