Wondering how long does it take to receive ssn in the mail

after applying for it? I applied this wensday that just passed.

That will depend on what your SSN receipt says. If it says that you should receive it within 2 weeks, then it usually takes 1 week. If it says you should receive it within 4 weeks, it will probably take the whole 4 weeks.

You need to go to the social security office the same thing happened to me the very first time I applied for it I didn't receive it bc I wasn't under the apartments lease so I had it send to my moms house. After that I got it in five days.
