tlancaster80 8 Posted August 2, 2013 Good afternoon,USCIS records indicate the processing of these cases have been delayed and are currently pending internal extended security review. A check of our records establishes that these cases are not yet ready for a decision as they are under an ongoing review. We cannot move forward on these cases at this time. We will make every effort to make a decision on these cases as soon as the review is complete. If a decision or other notice of action is not received from us within approximately 90-120 business days from the date of this e-mail, please contact us again for an update. There is nothing that can be done to speed up this process. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? APP ACCEPTED: SEPT 17 BIOS: OCT

tlancaster80 8 Posted August 3, 2013 I originally emailed the NSC a month ago and that was the response I got friday. I also did a second service request with USCIS around the first of july. When they responded, they told me within 30 days. That same day, I got an update saying my address on file had been updated. At this point, I've heard it all, but hope all this "activity" means an answer soon.

Rodriguezfebe21 0 Posted August 6, 2013 Congrats Dreamer3oh3, what is the email you emailed them? I have been waiting since november of last year and when I check online keeps saying initial review. This long wait is very nerve wrecking,it feels like they have forgotten about some cases which includes mine!

tlancaster80 8 Posted August 6, 2013 According to my lawyer, these "extended security reviews" are for daca applicants that are already in removal proceedings. We are still eligible...it's just taking longer for these checks...apparently...we shall see!! Anyone else heard this?? Or already have an approval being in the same situation?
