Basically, someone missed biometrics appointment because the notice came the day after it was scheduled. walked in early the next day (today) to see if could get it done even after missing appointment on Monday, and they let him do it with no problem. The people checking didn't seem too concerned about the date, and they said it was ok even when pointed it out. I've read somewhere that they give at least a week leeway to get it completed if you've missed your first appointment, so going a couple of days after wasn't a big deal.
