jenniv158 5 Posted August 8, 2013 Is it true that being approved for DACA means you have to go to a community college & at least work up to two years for a 4 year degree? I was reading something that said that & I'm worried now because I've been approved but I was planning on doing a 9 month program for Medical assisting & then after going to a community college later in the future. Does this mean I can't do a 9 month program to finish quick and start working in the medical field faster? jenniv158 5 Posted August 9, 2013 Idk girl this is what I read but maybe I misunderstood cus I read something else that said being "enrolled' in a school means you're either in a elementary, middle or high school, college (community) and/or a vocational school. Theresa 63 Posted August 11, 2013 For DACA/deferred action for childhood arrivals/Acción Diferida para Jovenes, The requirement is to have high school diploma or GED or to be enrolled torwards these. You can be working or not. They suppose you are in the need to have a work permit to look for a job, earning at least minimum wage and not less, getting a fair paying job based on your qualifications, or to continue working without fear of loosing the job for not having the work permit.
