Cynthia_Penuelas 13 Posted August 13, 2013 So my friends and I are a planning a lil trip, I live in AZ the trip is to CA, I know we can pretty much travel safely with DACA but my concern is that I don't have the approval letter, never got it, I know the permit should be enough prove that im here somewhat legally dont want to deal with "the green officers" lol am I worrying too much? JoseG 383 Posted August 13, 2013 A copy of the I-821D approval letter would probably make things easier if you were to be stopped and questioned, but the EAD should be enough. The EAD shows the category C33 which stands for DACA and shows that we have legal presence to be inside the U.S.
Guest nestorsolis19 Posted August 14, 2013 hey before I was approved for daca and my work permit I travelled by plane from Houston to phoenix and then back to Houston using only my Mexican passport and I didn't even was questioned at all so unless you get in front of a border patrol agent you should be ok and the work permit is all you need now that you have it!!
