Erick 13 Posted August 28, 2013 Well im in the real world now! I'm in college paying all this money I don't have and broke! This lady from where I graduated moved here as well she owns several appartment complexes! She knows about me being undocumented. So she offered me a maintenance job at her three complexes and is paying me 9/hr cash from her pocket. Have my work permit and will apply fo ssn soon but so far I don't need to! God bless everyone and good luck! 2 Tori and stolenlacs reacted to this

dreamer101 6 Posted August 28, 2013 I guess you are on the good track, I am also wanting to join college, it's hard for me because I usually get full time jobs . My job experience is very extensive though.
Dreamer3oh3 40 Posted August 28, 2013 Honestly why would you want to work as if you didn't have a legal status? My advice would be to get a job where you actually pay taxes, just bcuz you're in school and when tax time comes around you get more money back bcuz of school!!! Nevertheless congrats on finding a job. Just think about the advice I gave you :-) 1 Yureelee reacted to this

Besides I have known her for about 10yrs now and she has helped me out so much. It hard to find a great paying job like this while being in school with a heavy schedule. So I think it was a no brainer so if she wants to pay cash then she can and in the summer I can find a second job.

I understand where you're coming from and I'm just telling you from my experience, I filed my taxes every year eventhough I was illegal and I still got money back and there was one year when I got a sweet amount bcuz of my school. And I worked getting paid 8 dollars an hour. It's just words of advice man.
