hi I got approved on july 03 and I got a letter from uscis that my DACA has been approved but im still waiting for the i765 to get approve I checked my case this morning and the i765 still in initial review! does anyone had the same problem or is just me! I call my lawyer he told me not to worry about it that my daca has been approved, how long does it take to get the i765 approve?

Did you sign up for the email notifications? What type of mail did you send it through ? the post office might be able to track it.

Now you have to wait for them to send you your biometrics appointment. After your biometrics you just wait to hear if you were approved or not.

Thank you that can take up to 6 months right my case is been reviewed in nebraska i heard it takes longer to prosess there is it true?

What I've seen lately is nebraska is processing NEW CASES a lot quicker. However, I've been waiting since September for an approval. I wouldn't count on a 6 month time frame but it does appear to be in your favor.

To change your address you must fill out form AR-11 and mail it to USCIS. I've been approved! 

 

Employment Authorization Approval: August 29th

Deferred Action: August 30th. 

 

Just waiting for my letters in the mail now! 

 

My timeline:

Application Sent: May 17th

Received: May 21st (Nebraska)

Biometrics Taken: June 27th

Approval: August 29th.

Time: 2 Months 2 days since Bio. (Total 3 Months 8 days)

 

Im sorry to everyone waiting for so much longer its honestly bittersweet. I would keep reading these forums and on top of not being approved before.. I also felt terrible to those waiting from last year. It will come! Also.. To those searching receipt #'s before yours and after.. the # right after mine was approved August 20th while the 20 #'s before me still haven't been approved to this date. 

So it is random..  Good luck! 

 

Edit: Some info about me.. Im 23, Overstayed when i was 8. Graduated in 08. For Proof i sent in School records, Hospital records covering (2009/2010) I also sent quite a bit of Amazon/Newegg/Ebay Invoices.. so THOSE HELP! They helped me cover some years (2011/2012) with things I purchased online. I hope this helps

i recently change my address n i got update on i821d stating that they send me a letter but it was returned back to them bcuz it was unable to be deliver to contact the uscis n verified d addressvi did n its gona take up to 10 days for me to receive tat letter. Im just wondering wat could that letter be please help

When you're issued an RFE, your I-821D status will update and you will be able to see it online.

Woohoot!! i just got approved today:) I checked my status at the uscis website and kept staring at the word Approved! I am so happy, I cried of joy!! Thank God who heard my prayers!! Keep faith dreamers and you will all get approved sooner or later! I waited since November 2012 so it was a long wait but worth it, now to look for my dream job:)

Ok my problem is that at the age of 17 i got caught shoplifting at walmart it was around $20 what i had and the cop still took me to jail.. I was there 1 night got out next morning... My question is WILL THIS AFFECT ME IN MY APPROVAL???? I'm 21 and my application went in on April 1st 2013.. On May 6 i had my biometrics done... Its been 6 months??? No answer?? What can i dooo??? Call my lawyer or what??? My case status is still on "Initial Review" my lawyer said there would be no problem when i applied but has anyone had a case like mine and got approved????

It will show up on your background check and USCIS will request to see the paperwork if you didn't send it in with your application. It shouldn't affect your approval though.
