I've waited for most 11 months now, as well as waiting on my R.F.E. My sister 4 months ago did hears. And she got accepted today! WTH is going on! I called in and they said please allow the full 60 days! After some rumors about USCI not allowing pictures anymore looks like i might not even get accepted. Thats the only thing i had really for 2009 was pictures, i also had my preist write a letter stating how i go every sunday, as well as a cummity service saying how i help out every year. Think i had my ex girl friend the mother of my child write a ltter and got it sealed by city hall stating how i went out with her for four years, and we have a son together. I HOPE I GET APPROVE, UGH

In your timeline it says that your application was accepted Jan.2 ,2103. So that would mean that you've been waiting for 8 months not 11 months.. right? or am I wrong?.. Just hang in there I am pretty sure your approval should be coming anytime soon.

Oh ok...I read your child was born in 2012 so tgat wouldn't help 2009. I hope everything gets figured out for you.

This is FALSE if you go to USCIS.gov and go to there information about acceptance it says they start counting the time when your case is received with the service center not when you do your biometric appointment.

That's what I was told when I went and did my biometrics. Maybe the lady had the wrong info. If you notice most people who filed later this year are getting approved a couple days before or after their biometrics dates. I did mine June 19 & got a RFE on August 15

People nedd to understand that when you receive the accepted letter, it just means uscis received it, it doesnt mean you are approved. Nd also u cant get approved before your bios Cus they use bio for your background check. the reason y ppl are getging approved faster this year nd now is because their aren't as many applications like when I applied in sep. uscis accepted my app Oct 1st,2012. I got rfe July 20th, 2013 nd I just got approved like a week nd half ago.

I did not say you can get approved before your biometrics. I am saying that when you look at the date you did your bios & then you look at your approval date months later, THE DATE is usually close. Either a couple days earlier or a couple days after. Maybe my English is hard to understand idk.
