GaiusJuliusCaesarII 2 Posted September 24, 2013 So yesterday I went for my biometrics, it went great.. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment was scheduled. You show them your ASC Appointment Notice and your I.D. (I took my passport). Then you fill a paper and wait for your number to be called on the board. The woman that took my biometrics told me that I should get my Employmet Authorization Card in the mail within 1 week. I found this to be a shocker beacuse I thought the process took about 4 months. I just sent in my DACA request on August 27, 2013. today is September 24, 2013
JoseG 383 Posted September 24, 2013 The employees at the ASC have no way of knowing when you're applications are going to be approved. Some people have waited months just for their background checks to be completed, then once your background checks are done, your applications and evidence then have to wait in line to be reviewed by an adjudicator. Theresa 63 Posted September 25, 2013 She probably just thought that you were getting your card through something different from DACA like a conditional green card or something. I got mine 60 days after my biometrics though. I Did a walk in As soon as i got the bios letter. Good luck and I hope you get yours soon too.
