I'm still waiting on my daca approval but I originally went to school and still want to be a paramedic. What did you guys study for? What do you want to be? This year is my 8th year as a professional lighting designer for narrative movies, music videos, commercials, corporate, and still photography. It's the career that I devoted myself. Hello_keren 6 Posted September 28, 2013 I always wanted to be a nurse, after DACA I enrolled in the CNA program this year and will finish in november and will take the state exam on january. Will continue next year for the Practical Nurse program. Tafollita 1 Posted October 23, 2013 I'm still waiting for Approval, but if I get approved I will be able to get a better job as Manager for a Retail store. Though, thats the first step of many I'm planning to make to succed in this country. Congrats to all of you who pursued school eeventhough you knew you were not going to be able to get a job after graduating but now is paying off your hard work and sacrifice! roadrunner11 167 Posted November 24, 2013 Aaaah you guys I got accepted to PA school. On my personal statement I briefly mentioned the fact I had been undocumented. It is beyond real for me at this point thinking I will be a healthcare provider in 2 years or so. At my interview session I was the only Hispanic and not even kidding the one who went to the least prestigious school. But I got a call of acceptance that same night. I.have.a.DREAM 2 Posted January 29, 2014 As soon as I got my EAD, I got into customer service, Call center since these are the places that are always hiring. (Tip for people with no resume, job experience or unrecommended past employers). 2 years after I got into non-profit organizations and today I am working as a Care Advocate in the Human Resources Field, I plan staying here and growing professionally.
