Waiting4amiracle 1 Posted October 30, 2013 Hey there, dreamers! My name is Mark, I'm from Chile been living in the U.S for about 12 years, I'm 25 years old, and i hope to find some friends in here, that I could share my experience with the so-called DACA Act, I don't know if this is the right place, but I'm in despair, I've been waiting for more than a year to get approved, and I'm still waiting for an answer....i did all the process with my lawyer, he told me that i have to keep waiting....(not much help)....I applied for the I-821D and the I-765, USCIS received my applications on September 11, 2012. I got my biometrics done on October 11, 2012.....after all that i got a letter in the mail from USCIS asking for more evidence(RFE) I responded with more evidence before the exp date(april 11, 2013)! I looked at the USCIS website and search with my Receipt Number and it says that they received my evidence on march 5,2013....okay so far so good but after march 5, 2013 i haven't heard from them.....i called 3 times and no help...the only thing they could do was to service request because they knew it was outside of normal processing times....well after my third time calling them i got a lletter in the mail from USCIS saying the following; "We have received your inquiry stating that your consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (form I-821D) is beyond the expected six month processing period. USCIS is making every effort to process these cases within the sated times-frames and hope to move your case in the near future. However, at this time we cannot provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your request for deferred action." I-821D: September 11, 2012. I-765: September 11, 2012. Biometrics: October 11, 2012. RFE: received by USCIS on March 5, 2013. Exp date was April 11, 2013. After e-request and 3 or more calls to USCIS, still nothing.... BTW, my case is being processed at the Vermont Service Center......I'm losing hope....
Gezinha 121 Posted October 30, 2013 Urgh...VT is the wooooorst! Don't despair though...Some people have been waiting for over a year, it is just slow like that, especially with all else the govt says they have to do...I am sure we all don't trust the govt with all their BS, like I say every single time "they are refilling their coffee mugs every 45 minutes thinking they should be paid more money to do so" haha. It is just ridiculous, they ask for RFEs needlessly, can't do one thing that they are confident in..it is just tiring. My case was transferred to Nebraska halfway thru the whole thing and I was actually glad, 6 months ago, everyone who got VT center was doomed, they are the smallest center, I think, no one liked it. I didn't apply with a lawyer bc I just didn't trust one, they are all full of bs, but your day will come, you will see...if you sent in all the proper paperwork..they cant deny it! Good luck and welcome too the forum, everyone is really helpful here, hope you enjoy being here with us.

I'm still waiting as well it's been 14 months and counting......I'm being processed at Nebraska Service Center. The last E-request I got in the mail it was a letter on October 26,2013 and it said this "Your case is currently under review with an officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 90 days of this letter" I really hope I hear sooner then 90 days! It says WITHIN so I should hear something very soon. Hopefully they approve us already. :-)
