Theresa 63 Posted December 19, 2014 You should recieve an appointment letter in the mail. The wait for this varies from 2-4 weeks after your receipt date. ViK 7 Posted December 28, 2014 Hey Guys! Happy Holidays. I just received my Biometrics appointment it's on 1/6/2015 After that it's another waiting game. I learned my lesson and haven't drank for 5years now. It was the worst mistake and I'm so embarrassed. I've been here since I was 5 years old.I'm still in college and have two children Im afraid to apply. Every attorney tells me not to apply but I am thinking about taking a chance and applying myself, I have all the proof I need and I have the application. Please let me know how your case is going. ViK 7 Posted September 22, 2015 I do apologize for not updating my case. 2 months ago I received a NOID Notice Of Intent To Deny Now this is not saying I was not approve by it basically means they are not sure if I'm going to be approved because of my DUI. I have sent them a copy that I'm getting my DUI Expunge and some other papers. I'm still waiting. The key here is and I didn't do from that start was the following. Get your DUI Expunged it's a very simple process. Go to your court house where you had your DUI tell them you want to get your DUI Expunge.They will give you the paper work it only takes a couple of minutes to fill it out. They charge anywhere from 120 or so but you can a waiver. It takes about a month or so to get approved or not. Then send that copy with your package for DACA. Mine was approved a month ago but I only had 30 days to sent a reply to the NOID so I didn't have a chance to sen them the copy. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Arodriguez29 0 Posted September 22, 2015 Thank you for the info I went yesterday to speak to another lawyer and she is reviewing my case and I went to the court house to get my diposition, she said there is hope but has to review the whole case. I will ask about expunging my case. I will be praying for you with God all things are possible. Stay positive! keep me updated and I will do the same. ViK 7 Posted September 25, 2015 Expunge your DUI once that is ready send the copy the court will give if it's expunge. Send that with your package. They send me a paper saying they were not sure if they were going to accept my package because my biometrics showed I had a DUI now a NOID does not automatically mean you're disqualify it means they are not sure yet. Alex978001 0 Posted January 3, 2016 Hello guys. I came across this forum online because I am in the same situation as most of you. I got a DUI almost 2 years ago. I was under DACA then but I was in the renewal process already when I was arrested. Luckily I was approved for the renewal without any issue most likely because the case wasn't settled then. I ended up taking the plea deal the court offered me. Since then I obviously stopped drinking! Even though I'm not a regular drinker, I made the mistake that night of wanting to drink with my friends & made a horrible mistake by choosing to drive. My renewal date is approaching is November & im worried that because the case is still recent I won't be able to get the charge expunged in time or try any other options that would help my case. Kiki1234 0 Posted January 31, 2016 Hey im from new jersey and i recently got arrested for a dui 2 weeks ago i got arressted bc after a heavy snow storm i decided to go for a couple drinks after words my car slid and hit a parked car so now im in the process of trying to fight my dui but iam also a DREAMER and i know i DUI will effect on my renewal which is a year away or less ...i decided to turn my life around after this bc i cant throw away a wonderful opportunity that God has gave me. I hope everyone that has had a similar experiance too pray you will get accepted. Cant let a simple party throw away the one opportunity we got to be legal in this wonderful country..
