holdingon2promise 25 Posted March 20, 2014 @solid I'm curious to see your process since we are a month apart in sending in our applications. Mine was in March. Waiting for my biometric. What type of evidence did you send? I think the evidence is what makes a difference. Where is your lockbox?
Solid 5 Posted March 20, 2014 @holdingon2promise , I sent bank account records, credit report records, a few receipts of my internet purchases, my w2's , a couple of signed letters saying I was here on certain dates from my previous bosses, some paid traffic tickets lol, and im sorry when I said I sent my stuff on feb 20, Actually I sent it on JAN 24th and I got a text message on JAN 27th saying my case was received, then they sent me a letter for my bio appointment schedule on Feb 20 , and now im just waiting, I got a lot of trafict tickets my finger prints were taken before , and even a warrant on Madison WI for skipping court , now I live in Los angeles, hopefully everything goes ok, my sister got her stuff in 5 months and she had a lot of traffic tickets and even her finger prints take out like me lol, but no warrants, she got hers back in Feb 2013 I will let you know if I get approved or not keep me posted on your case as well
holdingon2promise 25 Posted March 20, 2014 Thanks for the quick response. Please keep me updated! I just checked my status and I am in initial review and i am waiting on a letter that can take 7-10 business days to arrive. I think it's my biometrics... ugh the wait is hard to ignore. Oh and i sent my banks statements, medical immunizations card that dates back to 1987 (been here for 27 years), high school, collage transcript, ssn, i-94, and other stuff. i hope it’s enough. Solid 5 Posted March 20, 2014 @holdingon2promise Oh yeah you are good im guessing that your case might take 3-4 months over all in my case I think it could be more than 7 months, im also on initial review and I check every morning well lets hope everything goes ok and in a couple of months we are both accepted
holdingon2promise 25 Posted March 20, 2014 I hope our case doesn't take longer than 3/4 month 5 the max. I check all the time lol

Solid 5 Posted March 23, 2014 13 months!! I cant wait that long I, planning on buying a house I need to start building up my credit ... my projects are on hold till I get my ssn I hope you get a response soon Illinois
holdingon2promise 25 Posted March 25, 2014 I think we should talk about what kind of evidence was sent in. I think that also determines processing time.
Rawf 336 Posted March 26, 2014 Your evidence, your history, and so much more is why the cases are delayed. But most of them time, they are just sitting on someone's desk waiting to be reviewed and there's so much a human can do in a few hours. Some agents work faster than others and that's why someone can send the documents today and be approved within 3 weeks. It all varies, but like holdingon2promise said.. discussing the evidence you provided would be very helpful.
Solid 5 Posted March 28, 2014 USCIS received my packet jan 27, 2014 ....... I did my biometrics Feb 20, 2014 ............. I checked online today march 28 2014 like around 9am and my case was still on initial review, I checked again march 28 2014 at 2:30pm and my case had been approved it says card/documentation production, I should received my document in 30 days from now , as I posted before I had a lot of trafict tickets and even a warrant , but uscis still accepted me so there is hope, if you are in the same situation as me and would like to know what I sent or have any questions hit me up good luck to all of you Perseverance is failing 19 times and succeeding the 20th 2 MissErika and Gabske reacted to this
jerriarielle225 2 Posted March 29, 2014 I totally forgot to put my exact info up on the post so... They accepted my case December 3rd my biometrics was on january28th no walk in and now I'm currently on initial review. From what I've been reading on other forums and this one people with a history like mine usually get approved rather quickly. I have no criminal record. I have no previous cases with uscis. I graduated highschool in 2013. I'm only 19. I sent my transcripts up to my 7 th grade year thats all i really had because i moved that year. I'm thinking I'm gonna get an rfe to prove that i was here 2007 &2008 but idk. Who really knows. I pray i get it soon because that's all i can honestly do just wait and pray
holdingon2promise 25 Posted March 30, 2014 Congratulation!!! I'm still waiting on my biometrics. :-(
gsanchez 2 Posted April 2, 2014 I mailed mine December 16, it was received December 18 in the nebraska center. My first biometrics appt was January 25, but I received another letter about a week later that I had to redo my biometrics so I went back February 13, and have been waiting since. I have a feeling my evidence for June 15, 12 wasn't enough. At the time I was living with my boyfriend, I had no bills under my name, no bank account at the time, wasn't working, so all I could provide was a notarized letter from his mom whom we were living with stating that she's a witness of my presence in the states on that day, and a copy of phone records from that day. I hope it's enough considering I don't have much to work with. This process is so nerve wracking and I'm beginning to lose hope
jerriarielle225 2 Posted April 2, 2014 Everyday that passes I lose hope. I always wake up thinking today is the day but then get sadly disappointed... Please let me know if you get approved or rfe'd since our timelines are somewhat similar
jerriarielle225 2 Posted April 7, 2014 I know that people aren't really reading this stuff but i got an Rfe for my high school diploma. The only thing is i didnt get the letter i checked the site and it says they sent it march 18th but no letter. My lazy good for nothing lawyer recieved a copy of the letter which i found very weird. Does anybody know how long after they send they're evidence does it take to receive results
Tori 38 Posted April 8, 2014 @jerriarielle: I didn't receive my RFE either, but my lawyer did and squared away the issue. After submiting I was approved fairly quickly. My RFE was to clarify my name. 1 jerriarielle225 reacted to this
jerriarielle225 2 Posted April 8, 2014 @Tori hank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. That really calmed my nerves lol. I hope this my only rfe because i thought i would've gotten one for not enough evidence for 2007. But do you mind me asking how quicky you got approved like a month? Thank you again
Tori 38 Posted April 8, 2014 @j: it was less than a month, about 2 - 3 weeks.
