jaime7815702 1 Posted April 26, 2014 So anyways. I went to the ssn administration to apply for my ssn right after I got approved for daca. I brought my work permit and my birth certificate but they said that they couldn't accept it because it was not the original. Even though I thought it was. So I went online and it say that I can bring us driver license, school record, and it gives a lot of option. But the lady told me since it was a new ssn I only got two Options my original birth certificate or my foreign passport. And I don't have either one of them. Please help don't know What to do. Theresa 63 Posted April 26, 2014 Go to you foreign consulate in the USA and try to get a passport, they give it to you the same day. Take anything that can identify you with that birth certificate and see what they say. They could be a lot of help! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
