jellyblossom 0 Posted May 7, 2014 Hello Dreamers, I applied back in July in 2013 by my attorney. I never received a Notice of Action or a single paper from USCIS at all. I asked my attorney to call and see what's going on. Turns out they said I had my fingerprints done when I was called for an interview with my deportation officer and they can't issue me a notice for biometrics because of that and they cannot access the fingerprints to be used for my background check. I was told either I have to wait 15 months for the fingerprints to expire or have them send my file back to the lockbox and reissue me a notice for biometrics. But after months I still have not heard anything. So I decided to call myself but they couldn't do anything without the receipt number (I was never issued one). After going back and forth, they told me I can find it in the back of the check I paid the application with. So I retrieved the check but all it says was case cannot be found. My attorney told me she sent a letter to link the receipt number with the application. She also called in and did a service request but it's been 2 months and I still didn't get a single letter. I even emailed the USCIS but the information I got was useless. At this point I am extremely worried and don't know what happened to my application. Does anybody know what might have happened? I have been waiting for a total of 10 months now. Why did I not receive a single letter or notice? I reviewed the application multiple times and the address is correct. I feel helpless and don't know where to turn anymore.
