fre2509 2 Posted August 6, 2014 I called them and asked for a status update but they told me I have to wait 6 months. I checked my status on their website and it says last activity on my case was april 7th!. I hate it! Im sure now I'll probably be one of those people that took more than 6 months to get a decision. Sent app on 4-9-14 Arrived in TX lockbox on 4-11-14 App was then sent to Nebraska Receipt letter 4-23-14 Bio appt 5-2-14 Approved on 7-23-14 EAD card arrived 8-1-14 Applied for SS card on 8-7-14 The more evidence you turn in the faster the service. So hopefully I will hear from them in September. I constantly check my status from doesnt go pass intial review and just says my application was received on March 24 2014. NENE85 2 Posted August 30, 2014 F.Y.I for everyone! I signed up to receive email notifications on my case. And I did not receive anything when I was approved. My advice is check online every day. I know it can be disappointing to keep seeing "Initial Review" but before you know it you will see approved if all is well. Good luck to all! A lot of patience and faith is needed. I have read on other post that these case status are sometimes incorrect or go from initial review to post decision activity....etc...
