Credit Card Help

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone im new to this but it seems like a helpful way to get some questions answered. I applied a while back to the credit card from wells fargo for cellege students but I got denied because I wasnt a permanent resident thats what they told me. I recently got a invitation letter from discover it for college credit card but I dont know if I should give them my ssc number or not because Im afraid theyll just denied it for the same reason. Also do I need to put a nimber where it asks u about hpw much u spend in ousehold or can I leave it blank. Can I use my itin number Instead of my ssn? What are other banks I can apply to if anyone knows Thanks guys

They will deny you since your new ssn doesn't have any recent credit. You are better off applying for the credit card that ask for a down payment. They can start you at 200 too 500 and if you make every monthly payment and finish your balance they can grand you a normal credit card.

Dump Wells Fargo and go with Bank of America. In 2011 I got a checking account with them, no questions asked about my SSN or Mexican consulate ID. In 2013 after approved for DACA I opened a college credit card with B of A and updated my SSN.

Greatest thing: I'm not even a student, the fellow hooked me up! No interest for a year and $1,000 credit line!
