Nie 6 Posted October 3, 2012 Hey, so I did my biometrics this past Monday, at the scheduled time. I got there pretty early. There weren't too many people so the line moved quickly. Just three of which were DACA applicants I think too. I offered my passport and college ID with my receipt, but the guard only took the passport. What's funny is that they didn't notice I had an older picture than the first one when I was like 4 or something and were trying to ID me from that. Even stranger, they didn't even say anything 8D. Gave me a form asking Full name, Date of birth, Country of residence, country of citizenship, A#, LIN#, race, height, weight, and other names used (I think I got everything ;\). I measured my height the night before because I had no idea what it was XD. I forgot to fill out country of citizenship and race (in my nervous state, I didn't bother checking over), but the guard was really nice about it and it was cleared up, no problem. My one issue that caused my processing time to go to 45 minutes to an hour, was their difficulty in taking my prints!! Apparently, because I type a lot, my fingertips did not take pictures well XD (it was digital, btw). Everyone who came before and after me were in and out before me! My Mom, who was waiting outside for me seeing these people come and go, got worried and stormed in like super Mom! THANK GOD I was done just then!! DX. Lol. Other than that, and being way too nervous, it went pretty well, I think. And yes. Now for the waiting =]

This is why before my biometrics I made sure I used plenty of moisturizer everyday. I got really worried though when I suddenly got a cut on my index finger a week before my appointment. Luckily though, it healed on time and no problems. Glad things went well Nie!

roxr 0 Posted October 3, 2012 Hey guys I went to my appointment this morning. I was very nervous because I hadn't renewed my passport yet (I took the one that I used to come here) and of course my matricula. The security guard just took my matricula. When my number got called I went up to the counter and the lady told me that my application needed verification because I didn't fill out my name the way it was filled out in my birth certificate. basically they just had to double check it. The man who double checked my names also asked for my school ID just for a current picture. After that it was fingerprints and pictures. I heard people have been in and out. I was in there for an hour and a half! BUT definitely glad that part is over with... now on to the waiting game...

JoseG 383 Posted December 14, 2012 And how much does it costs The Biometrics? $85, but that was already included in the $465 that you sent in with your applications.
