angela 9 Posted September 15, 2012 Hello Everybody, I am moving to Georgia due to my husband's job ... and well, I am quite concerned about living there being a dreamer. While I am happy to have applied to DACA and still waiting for my biometrics appointment, I still read a lot of awful stuff about the law HB87. Some parts of it have been struck down by the supreme court, but some parts of it are still standing. Does anybody have any personal experience or knowledge about these laws or living in Georgia while they are in effect? Thanks so much for your responses. Rawf 336 Posted September 15, 2012 I wouldn't suggest moving out while your application is in process, one because you would have to call and request an address change which can take days and you don't know if the biometrics letter has left the facility to your original address and second it would delay the case. Sometimes you get the biometrics appointment before receiving the I-797C Official Letter. To your question, I had no idea about that going on in Georgia. Hopefully someone will be able to help you out.
