Daca Renewal

Hello all,

I have received DACA approval 2 years ago but now, it will expire in upcoming early November.

 

I have submitted my renewal application Mid July, and I have not heard anything back from them.

 

Has anybody received DACA renewal yet?

if so, how long did it take?

 

I submitted about 110 to 115 days before the expiration...

 

Any advice will be nice.. I have no faith that I will receive renewed DACA within next couple of weeks.

What do I do if it does get expired?

You should definitely call and tell them that because you might be let go of your job if it expires. I haven't had any personal experience, but I would call as soon as possible and request an update, and ask to talk to a supervisor or something because that is cutting it pretty close.

I also haven't received anything back my status is just sitting on Initial review. I contacted them but they only said they dont have a time frame for the processing times of the applications. I am going to be going into a local office for a extension of my i-765 since it already expired on the 15th of October.

 

What office was your application sent to ? Mine was the Nebraska office.

And i also submitted within 100 days of the expiration period.

I havn't received anything other than coming in for biometrics.

I also called, and they also have no idea when it will be done.

Not sure what actions I can take..

If you submitted your renewal application at least 120 days before your DACA and EAD expiration date, USCIS may provide you with temporary DACA and an EAD while it processes your application, if your DACA and EAD expire before your application is processed.

Yeah...

I did it with 115 days.

Maybe that's not good enough.

Hopefully it comes out before it expires...

 

Not sure what to do afterwards, if it does expires.
