brendat90 0 Posted July 22, 2015 I applied back in September, by January 23, 2015 I had biometrics done. January 28, 2015 I-821D was approved. July 22 2015, I haven't received work permit, and I don't know what to do regarding the issue that mine says it's been approved for 3 yrs. PLEASE HELP!! Theresa 63 Posted July 23, 2015 If you are a DACA recipient who received a three-year Employment Authorization Document (EAD) after February 16, 2015, it was likely mistakenly issued and must be returned to receive a valid one for 2 years. Note: anyone who received it for 3 years before February 16, 2015 does not need to return it. Anyone who received it for 2 years before or after February 16, 2015 does not need to return it. Theresa 63 Posted July 23, 2015 Brendat90, If you haven't received your EAD by now I suspect it was lost in the mail. That is a very long time. Call their national customer service line to ask them if they know anything about it. If you were aproved before February 16, 2015 you don't have to worry about returning anything but you do need to find out if your EAD was lost and go from there.
