Osi_Land 0 Posted July 30, 2015 I did my renewal on my own and sent in the applications they were received April 16th. I received my biometrics appt letter 2 weeks after went to the appt mid May I received my notices of Approval in the mail about a month ago and still no card. My original expired yesterday 7/29 now my boss said he's taking me off the schedule until I show him the new one. I called the customer service line and he said it hasn't been sent out and that my application hasn't reached the 90 days to make a request. What should I do? I'm in California, I'm the only bread winner in a household of 3, I can't afford to be out of a job.
Theresa 63 Posted July 31, 2015 They should be able to e-verify and contact USCIS themselves too because you have been APROVED and you can show the Deffered Action approval letter on your 821D to your employer
Osi_Land 0 Posted July 31, 2015 I'm going to do that today with my boss and his boss, hopefully they can work with it. We aren't part of e verify but they still run all the social security and background checks. Hopefully our main office says I can continue working.
Theresa 63 Posted July 31, 2015 They then should call USCIS inquiring about your approval and verification. They will need the information on your aproval letter. You can also self e-verify through USCIS web page
Osi_Land 0 Posted August 1, 2015 I showed them my paperwork where it states I can work til 2017. Since its still not the card, they said they will let me know, once the office decides. :/
Osi_Land 0 Posted August 6, 2015 They couldn't accept my letter saying I was approved, USCIS said there's nothing else my employer can do and just to wait for the card. USCIS said my employer cannot call because it is not permitted. So right now its been a week and nothing already put in a petition saying I haven't received my card and they responded with give them another month.
Theresa 63 Posted August 8, 2015 Check your status with your receipt numbers to see if your card is under production or if it can give you the tracking number

Osi_Land 0 Posted August 17, 2015 Yes it can be up to 90 days but when I called they said the avg was 60 days if you don't receive it after a month call and they will put a request for it to be moved to priority. They are really behind making them. I called so many times and after a month it still wasn't in production.
