Dui 9 Years Later

i hope i am posting in the correct forum. i got a DUI back in October of 2006 and was wondering if i am completely disqualified or if i am able to expunge it and apply for DACA. for the last 9 years I've kept a clean record and i now possess a California driving license although i choose not to drive. should i even bother contacting a lawyer or just don't bother? at this point in life i do not expect any good news for me in my position but i am curious of other people's stories. thanks
