Johnny1w23 0 Posted August 29, 2016 I am from Chicago IL and i am going to go get my drivers liscence but i did not renew my EAD card However, i still have my SSN. Ive heard that i can still use this number to present it at the Secretary of state, My question is can i still use my SSN to get my drivers liscence or will it be denied? maven 4 Posted September 9, 2016 Yes you can still use it. You dont even have to bring your SSN card when renewing. You just have to pass the vision test and update mailing address, if applicable. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
