Lupe 0 Posted January 8, 2017 Hi I was just wondering if any of you had any advice regarding resumes with a 9 year gap. I graduated college in 2007 with a chee degree and couldn't get a job then. I have no work experience because I couldn't get any while in college. I stayed to care for my dad since he was diabled from a construction work accident which is the only reason why I went to college in the first place with the money we got there but I was always scared of it because he worked illegally there but we can't take of him without the money we get from workers comp. the first time daca happened I was so out of touch with the work and education field that I Didn't think I could get a job then and I decided to keep staying helping my sister raise her kids while taking care of my dad.
