Total cost!?

Recommended Posts

So previously I along with a few other people on this blog, we discussed about the possible $930 that this entire process was going to cost us dreamers.

So far what we know is that the cost for the work permit is going to be at $380, and $80/85 for biometric check. The actual cost for deferred action application isn't yet known by the public.

The actual total cost may not come as we've initially anticipated, coming at almost $1000. Since we still don't know the actual cost for deferred action, it's fair to say that everything might come a little less expensive by a few hundreds, or cost even a lot more than anyone could expect.

In my opinion, I do not believe that the application for deferred action is going to cost more than the work permit which is at $380. It may perhaps come at about the same price (let's hope it comes cheaper) as the work permit but until then, best thing we can do is wait and save as much money as possible.

To my understanding, that amount of $465 is the total cost of the work-permit added with the cost of biometric $85.

The deferred application cost is unknown till august 1st.

Like I said before, I read this information on a topic that Dream posted. Im not saying its 100% true but it seems pretty logical to me. We knew this wasnt going to be cheap or free. It has to cost something so the Republicans and hard a** men dont start complaining about something else.

Heres the link where I got this info:

But girl, I get that you're going by this one article that Dream has posted... And I absolutely agree that this is not going to come off being cheap. I already read that article dream posted, I completely understand it and there is nowhere on that article that says the cost of the deferred act application. That article only says what its already known, and that is the fees to the work-permit and the biometric check.

What I'm trying to point out is that there is NO KNOW FEE for the deferred act application. This is going to come to light august 1st. I think you're misunderstanding the article by saying that the fee for deferred action is going to be $465. The article is all true, but you are misunderstanding it.

I have read from different sources where up to the minute information is given, and there is nowhere I mean nowhere that you see a price for deferred action.

Im glad you read the article and I guess everyone understands it differently. The 465 is the number I understand to be the fee for the deferred act and until something different is announced and I will be saving up that amount. I really hope Im understanding it wrong and dont have to save such a high number. Like you mentioned, we'll wait until august 1st and see....
