itzel 336 Posted July 30, 2012 Hi asanchez: From what you mention, your sister was caught shoplifting at 13 and they said once she turned 18 itd be erased. My question for you is who are THEY that said that itd be erased? I dont have an answer for you but I'd recommend if I were you and your parents to contact a non profit organization of attorneys that help immigrants that qualify for DACA to answer this question. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
asanchez 0 Posted August 2, 2012 Itzel, I ment by the judge and the police officer that wrote her ticket. And how can I contact those lawyers?
itzel 336 Posted August 2, 2012 asanchez: Ok, the judge and the police officer said that and lets hope its true. Ive learned from past personal experiences not to believe what anyone tells me, unless I have proof (documentation) that can validate what theyre saying. Its nothing personal against you or your case. Heres the link to find non profit organizations near your area: http://www.immigrationadvocates.org/nonprofit/legaldirectory/ Good luck
