Hi everyone. Things just took a bad turn with work and my family and I can no longer keep up with House rent from an old “family friend” who isn’t so friendly and we’d prefer to be on our own. My parents can’t do much about the situation and  I was wondering if I can rent a place through my name? My parents can’t but since I’m a DACA recipient, can I rent out a home/apartment for myself and my parents/family?

Please let me know. Any info helps!

You should be able to without issues. Every place has it's own set of rules, you would have to call and ask the landlord, building manager, etc.

Yeah you should be able, you should do a bit of research before renting on a lease or a contract, they have different formats for renting apts ( year, bi-year and monthly), also from my knowledge sometimes people ask if you have bank accounts or some check credit card scores as well. I wish you the best of luck!! Let us know how it goes :)
