I'm going for biometrics October 22nd. Anybody in Chicago know around how long to receive the Ead and was it mailed or had to be picked up by appointment? Thanks my fellow dreamers.

The waiting time after your biometrics until you get your EAD seems like typically about a month or a little bit longer so far. But you have to remember that more people are applying as days pass by, so expect the processing time to be increased. The USCIS mails your EAD to you once you are approved.

Yeah, Sinae is right. I did my biometrics on Sept. 27th, and I was approved on Oct. 17th and my card was mailed yesterday. It also depends on what center as it appears that each center operate on a different schedule. Mine was sent to Texas and I am in Chicago.

That was really quick! A person with the biometrics on the sept. 25. with the same USCIS center still haven't received anything yet. I'm glad you got yours quick! Good luck with the rest of the steps.
