Anyways thanx. Thought the two would clash lol

Marriage VS DACA...? I don't think getting married before or after applying for this program is going to raise any suspicions. Unless you assume that one can acquire residency by marriage after DACA approval. Your question isn't very clear to me. But even after getting DACA approval one is still without a status...

Sorry if I was a bit confusing. I know DACA continues without giving you a status, but in my mind I feel like immigration would be more leniant, if people get married after they have been accepted from DACA and not be as suspicious....? The reason I say this is because I have a friend that married and failed her marriage interview and now they are accepting it as fraud. She herself is afraid to even apply for DACA because she is already in the system and not in a very good light.

@ Gracias JamRock! Tengo las formas ya. Y yo estoy usando un abogado ;)

If your marriage is valid you shouldn't be worry about it ... And this has nothing to do with DACA. In my opinion the longest u have been married, the better it looks better when applying ... If I was u I would get married ASAP and wait some time so it doesn't seem like u got married this month and applied the next one

I just came across your question and as long as you can prove that your relationship is valid..meaning pictures, common friends and family you should be ok. I have an I-130 filled because my husband petitioned me in 2007 and we were basically sitting ducks waiting for something that would allow me to stay without the whole mess of leaving and waiting out side the country. Our lawyer advised us to to ahead with Daca, and then petition a permit to leave the country and then come back legally (stamp on the passport and everything) and then petition for residency. According to him it would take a matter of six to eight months. I know some people that did the whole fake marriage and got caught. From what I know USCIS askew you very personal questions, only questions one would know about a significant other. You should be fine, but research a good lawyer so you don't waste thousands do bucks like we did. good luck!!

P.S wouldn't it be awesome to get married and be able to travel to say Hawaii for a Honeymoon!
