livi86 0 Posted November 4, 2012 So may be weird I'm thinking about this now but I've been working with a fake ssn right. I do my taxes every year with my ITIN. How would it work when i do my taxes next year? I'm thinking way ahead but i can't help it i have so many questions running through my mind. Will i be able to claim what i worked with the fake ssn, and but my new one? Help anyone.
Rawf 336 Posted November 4, 2012 This should answer some of your questions, you will have to let your manager know that your ssn has changed. Some will change it without any problems, but others might not. That's because they can get in trouble for hiring an illegal immigrant not allowed to work in the US. Hope you don't have that issue. Rudy 12 Posted November 4, 2012 i do my taxes at H&R block every year and they have told me that when i get a real SSN they can help me... and that we can get up to 2 or 3 years back of refunds we didn't get for not having a valid ssn... 1 Brookness reacted to this
