amor 112 Posted November 5, 2012 Hey guys! I know I shouldn't be stressing but it's just impossible. It'll be 28 business days after my biometrics appointment tomorrow. I know everyone's case is different so I was wondering if anyone with a deportation order on them has been approved yet or if you are still waiting and what your timeline looks like. Thanks! Congrats to everyone that has been approved so far!
itzel 336 Posted November 5, 2012 Hi Amor: All I can tell you is to relax...if you had been denied or USCIS had sent you a RFE, you would know about it already. I believe bad news travels faster than good news..you just need to wait...I think due to the days youve been waiting youre very close... I havent heard of anyone getting approved despite a deportation order, but Ims sure there must be some out there... Ill keep my fingers crossed for you.. amor 112 Posted November 5, 2012 Thanks guys :-) I knowwww... I was doing great keeping busy until now lol Now I just want to rip my hair out. You're right Itzel. Mostly likely, I would have known by now if I had been rejected. You know what has freaked me out a bit? How many people with my name and generation from Colombia there are... I'm scared of any mixup in identity and having someone else's criminal record associated with me. Ok, I sound crazy now that I read that. Hahaha... This is one sick psychological experiment. Santi 353 Posted November 5, 2012 Amor - I was in removal proceedings before the DACA. I did my Bios on Sep 13th and have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting... Keep your hopes up, we will eventually get approved. It is just taking longer than expected, or what one can sanely bear... BTW - Service Center = Nebraska
amor 112 Posted November 6, 2012 Thanks guys! This stuff can get pretty isolating at times... Sometimes I feel like the last kid picked in dodgeball lol I'm really thankful for social networking and these public forums. All your words are comforting!
