First, you should really study all of the requirements to apply, and the required proof. Make sure 100% that you are eligible, specially that you have a clean record. You really should read all the instructions for the applications on the USCIS website.

As far as the social goes, I think a lot of people, if not most, have been working with a fake. So I personally do not see a problem with it. My personal suggestion is to avoid sending proof with your applications that shows you have been using a fake. Do not quote me on this, because I have heard of people sending in their pay stubs as proof, and thus clearly showing they had a fake.

Then, if you really must use pay stubs or incriminating documents that show you've used a fake, I would consider perhaps talking to an attorney to make sure whether or not it will be a problem.

Good luck!!

I agree with angela,

Dakween21, you should be able to determine whether you're an aligible candidate or not. The requirements that one must meet can be found pretty much anywhere. Now, me personally I have had a job which I acquired using a fake SSN and I'm still there working. I applied for deferred action and got approved. There are thousands of people of potential DACA beneficiaries who have also worked using fake SSN. But frankly, it shouldn't matter. I definitely believe that if you know you have a clean record and you can prove what's required, you should definitely apply.

One important thing is that for all documentation you send to them, make sure there's nothing fradulent that you've used to get a job or some kind of benefit. If you've claimed to be a U.S citizen I can only assume it was to get a job. If you never got trouble for it, I'd say you could be in the clear. If there's something more to that, best thing you can do is contact a lawyer to better determine if you're eligible to apply.

Good Luck

I sent my application with all my pay stubs i been working under a fake social for 10 years my attorney said it wasnt a problem. But he did ask if I claimed to be a US CITIZEN i said no so that made it easier but he kinda mention that if i did claim to be a US citizen their was a risk but thats just my experience you should contact an attorney to see what they tell you.
