YourFriend_Gzuz 8 Posted November 9, 2012 I'm curious on how people will use their EAD once they get it. Honestly, I can really feel everyone's anxiety! When are we going to be approved!? We all know how it feels to have a life without direction. Like that "What now?" feeling. But thats starting to go away. I plan to go to the Air Force in a couple of years. I just graduated Highschool and once I get my EAD I plan working full time at WetnWild;D And I plan to be moving in an apartment with a couple of my amigos this summer. (No more agency yay!)(Hello medical insurance), My dad is giving me his car when I get the license and he will be getting a new one.. no issues with me getting a car right now. I'll finally be able to get a fishing license and not worry about game wardens and fines. I can see that five pound catfish already. Aled 118 Posted November 16, 2012 I already received my EAD. So far what I've done is acquired my SSN, and recently applied for a state ID. After I receive that I'll go apply for my DL. We're nearly approaching the new year and what I'm doing now is preparing myself on all aspects to finally go out there into the workforce. I'm looking to start the new year like never before, college also awaits me. After getting my EAD, SSN, and DL I am applying for jobs at local clincs and hospitals to obtain my medical experience and use my bachelor's in science. This will hopefully allow me to attend medical school if we are granted permanent residence. Go to a better college, try to get my AA before transferring to a 4 year institution, then I'm gonna try to get a job in something that relates to my major and a lot more stuff, but i'll see how it goes . Sinae 21 Posted November 18, 2012 I'll apply for the SSN, then a state I.D.i will work on the DL slowly because I'm afraid I'm going to kill myself driving around haha I've already got a place to work so I'll work and gather the money to go to college. Then I'm going to a staffing agency to try & get a good paying job, saving up money & going to the university of Houston downtown to get my bachelors for social work.
