About Church Documents ...

Recommended Posts

Has anyone submitted any church documents like: marriage / baptism certificates? how do they verify this kind of documents?

I just found mine (baptism) and its just a piece of paper with names/dates and a scribbled signature (and some other crap) but everything seems very casual, what do you guys think?

Yeah I also used my church's confirmation and holy communion certificates. I got approved so they def took it as evidence. No need to worry about the vertification. As long as it is a copy of the original certificate that's all that matters. And plus you stated that your church has the record....

On the USCIS website they state that "Official records from a religious entity confirming participation in a religious ceremony" can be used as evidence.

Send it in.
