uhm 2 Posted December 2, 2012 Has anyone submitted any church documents like: marriage / baptism certificates? how do they verify this kind of documents? I just found mine (baptism) and its just a piece of paper with names/dates and a scribbled signature (and some other crap) but everything seems very casual, what do you guys think? Yeah I also used my church's confirmation and holy communion certificates. I got approved so they def took it as evidence. No need to worry about the vertification. As long as it is a copy of the original certificate that's all that matters. And plus you stated that your church has the record....
JoseG 383 Posted December 4, 2012 On the USCIS website they state that "Official records from a religious entity confirming participation in a religious ceremony" can be used as evidence. Send it in.
